Australian CSIRO have developed a new blood test for bowel cancer

My niece in Australia sent me this link this morning

Its about a new, more sensitive blood test for post-surgical bowel cancer recurrences, developed by the CISRO scientists, which has just been launched in the USA - no mention of the UK.

PS CSIRO = Commonwealth Scientific Industrial Research Organisation and has been around for as long as I can remember which is more than 50 years!

That's very interesting @Elmac, thanks for posting. I expect cost will be significant for the NHS. It would be a huge step forward to have non-invasive tests for recurrence or, better still, original diagnosis.
